Closing Outlook

Whenever I shut down my computer, I get a Window that
says the system is closing Outlook.exe. But it never
closes and I have to do a "hard" power down. Any ideas
on what this could be and how to solve it?

I tried a program called Knockout, but that didn't help.

Any suggestions would be appreciated.

Are you running any software that integrates with Outlook? WinFAX,
virusscanners and synchronisation software are known to keep Outlook
running;
