Closing a document in Word 2007

Previous postings say that I should click the small x to close a document in
Word without closing the program. Where is the small x? Is there a way to
put a close document icon on my toolbar? HELP!!!!

Click the office button in the top left and choose "close" at the very bottom
of the list.

You can add to QAT right click on QAT toolbar
Click Customize Quick Access Toolbar
Choose Commands: All Commands
Click in Commands box and type C
Then scroll down to "Close"
Click ADD
And position on your QAT with Up/Down Arrows or click in right colum where
you want to place "Close" command.
