Close window prompt

I use a web based program with field help that opens a separate window for
the help instructions. Everytime I try to close the help window, it pops up
with the message "The webpage you are viewing is trying to close the window.
Do you want to close the window? YES NO"

I always want this to be YES. Is there anyway to set a default for this or
not prompt at all? I can't find a setting for it anywhere.

Not sure if this will work, but a couple of ideas:

1. Are you using the red "x" to close the window? If you click on some
link that says "close" in the window, then it thinks the webpage is doing
something, and prompts you to ask if this is okay. It's a security feature
of IE.

2. If you trust this website completely, you can add it to your "Trusted
Sites" -- that should stop it from prompting you. Only do this if you trust
the website not to do anything malicious to your computer.

Best Wishes,
Kurosh
