Hi. I'm running a program that opens a command window.
That program isn't working (not Microsoft related
program) but the error message is contained in that
command window.

The problem is that the window dissappears so quickly
that I can't read it. In Win 98, the "close on exit"
option would be the solution, but I can't find anything
like that in XP. Any help?

Can you open a command prompt window and run your program
from there? This way, the command prompt window will
remain open.

I could, but that isn't the problem. There is a GUI with
this program, the GUI runs a script which opens the
window, all error messages are contained in that window.
I can't get the program to work because I can't tell what
the error is...I could if there was an equivalent
to "close on exit" in XP.

Isn't there a way to set this globally?
