I wish to transfer/clone all partitions of one hard disk (PATA) on to a new
drive (SATA). One of the partitions has a Vista installation. How do I do
this without having to resinstall Vista?

Thanks

By using an imaging program that is certified for Vista. I use TrueImage
HOME 10.0

Works great!

Yes it does, but cloning PATA to SATA can cause issues for system
partitions.

Make sure when you are done the system drive and any os drives will
enumerate to the same drive letters.
