clogged send, can't delete

Using Windows mail. Previously no problem, tried to send several emails at
once with zip files attached. Send times out before they can be sent. Can't
delete..is there a place to get rid of the present cache and start again??
Thanks for any help out there
 
Open the Outbox folder and delete any messages you see there.

Make sure your antivirus isn't configured to scan emails.
