Like most I have the clock displayed on my taskbar, which is fine.

I saw a screen shot in a user manual which displayed the day of the week
below the clock. (Monday etc). I have tried to find how the day is
displayed without success. Anyone know how to display the day and time in
the clock area?

Thanks

Right click the Taskbar and unlock if locked.
Move cursor over taskbar until it turns into a double-headed arrow
Left click and drag to double height
Right click the Taskbar and lock the Taskbar

Thanks Wes
Yes it works. I was looking to deep. Thought it was more that just the
double-size taskbar. Now that I know and look at the screen shot I have
more closely I can see it is a double width taskbar.

Thanks

Yes, now that I have tried it, I dont think I will actually use it, as you
say, takes up too much space.

I think the screen shot I have is actually cropped so you dont see just how
much space it takes.

But nothing ventured nothing gained, you win some you lose some.

Thanks

If your really keen on having info like that on your
clock be aware there are some fine toolbar clocks out
there that are far better than the boring windows one try
looking at download.com for freebies, it possible to get
round clocks which display a lot more info you can even
add your own backgrounds, having said that who would want
their toolbar double size? each to their own i
guess.......happy putering

If you have balloon tips enabled all you have to do is hover the cursor over
the clock to see the day and date. That's what I do.

Keep having fun.

Oh, and I also have a free wall calendar hanging within site. ;-)

Wes, I did what you suggested and created a problem for
myself. My Taskbar was locqatedxxxx located at bottom of
screen - now it is on right side of desktop (vertical).
How can I get it back to horizontal at booxxx botomxxx
bottom of screen?

Put pointer on a blank area near an end, then hold mouse button while
dragging it back into place.
