Lately the clock on my computer in the lower right hand
corner doesn't stay accurate and I have to change it
everytime I boot up. My computer is less than a year old.
I am using XP Home. I have never had a problem like this.
Any help would be greatly appreaciated.

How far off does it get? A few minutes, hours, or days? Or does it reset to
sometime in the 1980's?

Most likely you need a new CMOS battery, which is uncommon for a computer less
than a year old, but not unhear of.

.

Stupid question, but does it jump back or forward one
hour? If thats the case, make sure that you have
the "Automatically adjust for daylight savings changes"
checkbox clicked in the date and time properties.

Hope that helps
