Perform the following:

1. Right-click on your Desktop and select: NEW > SHORTCUT
2. In the Create Shortcut window, type in: CLIPBRD.EXE , and click "Next"
3. In the next window, type in: ClipBoard Viewer , and click "Finish"
4. A ClipBoard Viewer shortcut icon will appear on your Desktop.

Excellent stuff. But what is this Clipbook that sits behind the clipboard?

And if you are really into clipboards, (someone correct me if I'm wrong)
but the XP clipboard only saves one last copy. And there are utilities
out there that will expand the clipboard to save several last copies.
I don't use them, but I have friends that live by them.
Now these are true applications that I would assume make shortcut icons
to get to the clipboard when they install themselves.

MS Office has 24 slots.

I've been using free version Yankee Clipper III for 7-8 years with win98,
98SE and XP and wouldn't be without it. Has 200 slots (not that you'll ever
need that many) and a neat "shoot" function that instantly pastes any slot
content to any text document. Here's their URL:
