Clipboard enhancer stops working

Hi,

I've used a Clipboard enhancer for years now, you know, those programs that
save every clip & let you manipulate them to your heart's content.

Anyhow...... since I started using Vista my trusty old pal would start, act
normally for a few hours, and then stop saving. A restart would cure the
problem a while, and then I'd have to repeat the process.

Finding that a bit annoying, I decided to try something new. To make a long
story short, after installing and trying 6 or 8 newer programs, I've found
that they all do exactly the same thing.

Any clues?

One far-fetched thought...

Have you disabled UAC? Doing so can have repercussions that break older
programs.

Good guess!

Yes I've had it disabled since day 2 or 3. I'll have to check to see if
enabling gets rid of the problem. If it does, I'll disable it again, and
just live with the inconvenience.

Thanks

After enabling, you may have to reinstall the application in order to
get it to function correctly - IF this is the problem. Disabling UAC
has ramifications beyond simply banishing the prompt...
