Hi

When I try to insert an image into a presentatio from the clipart, it shows
totally empty. I guess something has to be instaled or something to have a
clipart whith some content.

Could someone please tell me how?

Thanks in advance

Does the clip gallery show empty, or does the slide show empty after you
insert clipart?

Wow. I don't think I've ever seen a completely empty clip gallery
before! Are you using Office XP or a different version?

Can you try a test, Jorge? Head to http://dgl.microsoft.com and download
a few clips. (Make sure to get the right file type for your version of
PPT/Office. You want MPF if you're using Office XP. CIL if you're using
97 or 2000.)

Does anything show up then?

Oh, I guess I should first ask if you see any categories when you open
the Clip Gallery?

Finally, http://tinyurl.com/mtg5 (an archived newsgroup post) seems it
may be relevant for you as well.

I am using Office 2000 on windows 98 SE

I went into Control panel, Install / Uninstall and clicked on clip art
gallery.
Now the categories are shown and so are the thumbnail images but when I
click on insert I get a message telling me that the image is not in the
folder.

How can I get the images from the Cd to the right folder?

Thanks

The problem has changed. Now the clipart has some images. When I try to
insert one into a presenation sometimes it does and some others it asks for
Office Cd #2. If i put on the CD #2 it works fine.

Is there a way to move the images from the Cd to the Hard disk so it does
not ask me for the CD? I mean all of them, not just one by one

Thanks in advance.

Aha. Now this one I think I can handle. :)

You just need to set the clip gallery to "run all from my computer."
http://support.microsoft.com/?scid=kb;EN-US;Q235848 gives specific
steps.
