Clipart and animated GIF's background colour

P

P. Eccles

Hope someone can help.
I am just starting out learning FrontPage for the first
time, (Version 2002).

Two questions:

I am wanting to insert some clipart images into my home
page, however some of the page background colour shows
through some areas of the image. Is there a work around
to prevent this happening?

I also wish to include some animated GIF's to some of the
pages, however can't workout how I might be able to edit
and remove the backround colour to the animation, (eg.
trying to insert a waving aussie flag GIF, but can't
remove the white background to the animation).

Hope this makes sense. Any advise given will be greatly
appreciated.

You do all of this in an image editing program such as Fireworks.... not
really an FP issue.
