I checked Google Groups and noted that there was a brief mention of
this among a list of other programs in another post yesterday, but I
actually found it through Lockergnome and it looks like a keeper.
Clip Torrent 1.0.1.1 is a text-only combination clipboard repository
and spell checker that can use multiple dictionaries. The interface
is in english, but there are 18 different dictionary languages, each
available as a separate download. License is freeware, but author
accepts donations.
I've only been playing with it for about 30 minutes, but it has a
bunch of "gee whiz" features. A lot of thought went into this one.
To mention just a few:
* It's highly configurable
* Minimizes to system tray
* Sound on/off feedback
* One click paste clip OR SELECTED PORTION of clip
* Has a "roll up" button
* Always on top (or not)
* Stores up to 1000 clips
* Recognizez URLs (one click)
* Can edit clips
* Add clips to top or bottom
* Move clips up/down
* Add new clip & delete selected clip(s)
* Copies both full path and 8.3 filenames from Explorer
It does a lot more, and while I haven't had a chance to really do
thorough testing, I haven't found any bugs, glitches or other minuses.
Well worth a look.
