Clip in a PowerPoint slide show

While viewing my PowerPoint slide show, when I click the mouse to advance to
the next page, the clip art that I have inserted remains on the page. I then
have to click the mouse again to make the clip art go away and to view the
next slide. This is only the case with two of the slides in my presentation.
How can I fix this?

Check whether there is any animations with "On mouse click" in the first
slide. Also, try pressing enter instead of mouse click and see if the problem
persists.

When I press enter the problem still persists.

Yes, both slides have animations with "on mouse click." These are the only
two slides with animations. Could that be the problem?

Probably there is an animation that is still in progress. Try setting the
last animation to after previous and see if the picture goes away.
