clip art

I have just downloaded a batch of clipart from
Microsft.com but i cannot open the file as my PC could
not recognise the file name, how can this be when it came
from Microsoft ? could some one help me with this, or
give me a site name where I can get clip art that will
download and work on my PC. Thanx greatly.

You don't say what the error or problem is, just that you can't do it.
What did you do to try?

The files I've downloaded from Microsoft's Office clip art library are
*.wmf files. I believe that mans "Windows Meta Files". If double click
on these files via Explorer, it should open the program associated with
*.wmf files -- which on my machine is "Windows Picture and Fax Viewer"
which I think is the default program associated with these files as I
have no recollection that I ever changed it. Check you file association
for *.wmf files and use one of programs you have on your computer that
can read *.wfm files.

TO get more clipart, best to search Google for "clipart", or search
specifically in their "images" (from main page).
