clip art gallery

hi, i just downloaded a clip from microsofts clip gallery.
i have always used my own pictures and i know that they
need to be imported into the web and i keep them in my
images folder. how does it work with clip art ??? the
image (a photo) is in the downloaded clips folder. will
this publish with the page if i upload it to the server ?
the file extention is .cil. can this be saved in a
different format and edited ? my paint shop pro will not
open it. any info PLEASE ??? KLEO
