client email rule suddenly stops working

Suddenly today a client email rule I've used for years (now in Outlook 2007)
to move messages to a Personal Folders folder stopped working. Even when I
select run rule on Inbox now, the email messages are left in the Inbox
untouched. Any ideas? I tried moving the rules around, turning the rule off
and back on again. Nothing. (I also upgraded my rules, though I have no
idea what that did.)

P.S. I'm not sure if other client rules are affected, as I don't have many
of them.

Thanks for your help!

Hello kweiss,

The issue you are facing might be caused by any of these two ways.
By upgrading from outlook 2003 to outlook 2007.
By importing the rules
corrupted profile.

Please create a new rule and check if it works.
If the new rule works , recreate the non-respondent rule

Create a new profile
start>control panel>add/remove programs>mail>show profiles>add
configure an e-mail account.
import the outlook data
File>Import and export>Import from another program or file>personl folder file>browse to the location>choose donot import duplicates>next and finish.

Hope this will resolve the issue.
