Clicking works, address bar does not

Hi All,

I have an issue I cannot seem to find a solution for in the KB. A client
can navigate using IE6/XP-SP2 only by clicking on website in his favorites or
a link on a displayed site, but when he goes to the address bar and types in
an address and then either hits enter or clicks the Go button, nothing
happens. Well, not exactly nothing. The Windows flag logo in the upper
right waves but no site address or info shows on the status bar and he never
goes anywhere. Ideas?
