Clearing System Clipboard

How do you clear the system clipboard if you do not want it to interfere with
the copying and pasting of other items? Any help would be appreciated.

When you copy an item to the clipboard the previous item is gone.

Copying a " " (space) will flush the Windows clipboard.

umm.. out of curiosity, is there any way you can copy more than one item to
the clipboard and paste them somewhere else. I know about highlighting a
bunch of programs on the same page then pasting them, but what about two
different pictures on two different websites, and you dont want to open more
browsers.

Not that I am aware of; however, there are a number of free programs
available which will save a number of items to the Clipboard until you
choose to delete them. Two that come to mind are: "Yankee Clipper III"
and "Clipboard Magic".
