Clearing IE History no working...

When I click the clear history button, it clears it for
the window open. As soon as I close that window & open a
new one, the same history is back. I have also tried
setting my "days for history" to 0 and that doesn't work.
Any solutions? Please pop me an email if you have an
answer.

Close all IE windows and use the Internet Options applet in Control Panel.
