Clearing Hyperlinks

Hi!

When I revisit a web page that has been visited before,
the visited hyperlinks are colored differently from the
unvisited links. Howevery when I try to reset these links
by clearing history, clearing cookies or clearing out the
temporary internet files these links remain shown as
visited.

I have two questions:
Where on computer is this infomation stored and how do I
reset them.

Nicole,
Possibly your History folder is corrupt:
[XP\2K]
Log on as Administrator and delete the desired <username> folder(s).
[example]
"C:\Documents and Settings\username\Local Settings\HISTORY"

Note: McAfee AV with ActiveX controls enabled is known to cause History
problems.
