clear forms hangs

Hi,

When I go to Tools -> Internet Options -> Content -> Auto
Complete

and click on Clear Forms I.E. 6 hangs. I've waited for
hours.

I finally have to kill the process and the forms are not
cleared out.

Any idea how to fix this?

Maybe some section in the registry is corrupt???

Chris,
This doesn't always work, but try:
With no programs open,
Run REGEDIT and make your way to this key:
[HKEY_CURRENT_USER\Software\Microsoft\Internet Explorer\IntelliForms\SPW]
Export that key (Registry> Export- just in case you wish to undo the
change) then delete it- just the SPW key.
Restart the computer.

I don't know I'd try next except maybe a repair of IE?
