Cleaning Up/Removing $NtUninstall Directories

I have many $NtUninstallxxxxx sub-directories in my
Windows directory. Is there a safe way to remove these?
For example, I would like to know if I can remove old OS
Unistall sub-directories if I have not had any problems
with updates done over 12 months ago or if a Service Pack
update replaced subsequent patches/updates).

Hi

This is something you need to decide for yourself, but basically yes. You
will not be able to uninstall those updates though. An idea might be to
apply the latest service pack, and then only keep the updates released after
the service pack.
