Is there any sense clean temporary files from %temp% directory?
We can get show folder via Start >Run > %temp%. There are many .tmp
files, but present also a whole folders. Is there a sense to clear all
from there? Better system performance, etc??
I clean Temporary Internet Files in Internet Explorer only.

Get Crap Cleaner from http://www.ccleaner.com and it will clear those
files and your Java temp cache.

Either that or reboot and clear those files and folders manually.

If your a novice user then I would not use the registry cleaner that comes
with CCleaner but to be honest the junk files side of CCleaner, if you have
the default installed options ticked you should be able clean all of them
with no problems at all.

I am not sure that there is any sense to install addditional utility to
remove some ~temp files. I want do manually.

If you think you have cleaned up your temp files then you might download
and run CCleaner just once. It has a very nice "Analyze" button that
doesn't actually remove anything, it ONLY lists off all the files that
it thinks can be safely removed, and it puts up a little message saying
that it has not deleted anything yet, this is just the list of files.

I thought I ran a pretty clean system until I clicked Analyze. Wowsers.

Then you can purge CCleaner off your system and get on with your life.

It tends to produce quite a few false alarms about harmless registry
entries.... And this on a brand new installation of the OS with no
other applications installed or installed/removed.

Yes these should be deleted. Do so after a reboot. It won't let you
delete anything in use.
