Thanks for the recommendation.
It found much stuff. I deleted all of it and my Windows xp SP1
system never complained.

Been there, done that. I have Zone alarm, Norton anti-virus (2003),
Spybot S & D, Ad-aware and MSAS.
Plus all of the Windows security updates that can be installed.
Also, I use the Firefox browser.
After, installing SP2, I had to disable most/all of the SP2 security
features as they conflicted with the above -and- NortonAV
refused to work. The decision was easy.

Why should it work if you aren't paying for it? No way NAV 2003 is new. I
know it is the last version that doesn't have a key, but everything is
improved over time and sometimes you have to pay for the updates.
