I cannot import anything into Windows Movie Maker. No matter which file or file type I try, I always get the error message stating the file:
"could not be imported. Class not registered"
I have xp with sp2 and WMM 2.1. I've downloaded/installed all the codecs, Direct X, Media Encoder software, registered the quartz.dll by running regsvr32 quartz.dll and absolutely nothing works. WMM sounds like a great program, but is completely useless if you can't even import a single file. That includes wmv, avi, asf, mpeg, vob- all of which give me the "class not registered error.
Does anyone know how to fix this problem? Any help is greatly appreciated!!!
