Cisco integration with AD

Hi,
I'm currently using a Cisco 3600 for users to dial in to the network. At
the moment, we have specific user acounts created on the Cisco to allow
users to dial in. The problem with this is that we are forced to maintain 2
sets of user accounts (one set on the Cisco and another in AD)

Is there anyway I can integrate the two so that the Cisco uses AD for it's
user account validation? If so, does anyone have any links on what needs to
be done.

Thanks
Andy.

Silly question mebbe, but have you checked with Cisco support/website on
this?

Yes, I've checked their web site and there is no mention of active
directory integration.

I have found that the cisco supports using a RADIUS server for
authentication so I'm thinking I can install IAS on one of the DCs and use
that as a RADIUS server for authentication for the cisco dialin.

Has anyone else done this, and are there any pitfalls to watch out for?

Thanks

Andrew.

Yes, we are doing it. It works very well with really minimal setup.

Thanks,
Fred
