choppy picture

when i play a dvd the picture is choppy cuts every 5 sec.
or so. it didnt before it used to play normal. i play it
on WMP9 i have windows xp 256MB of RAM if anyone has any
solutions thanx in advance

Try ctrl+alt+del, go to the task manager, and find wmp9,
right click it, and set the priority one notch or two
above normal.
