choosing a 'profile' before i can boot up?

hi

i keep getting a black and white message when i try an boot up, asking me to
choose between 'profile 1' and 'profile 2' (hardware profile/configuration
recovery menu). thing is, i only have one profile, as far as i know. what can
i do to eliminate seeing this screen?
 
Hi Lenny,

This is Anish. This is a simple Problem which you have here. May
someone sometime might have created a new hardware profile which is
prompting you to select one everytime. Now There is a resolution for
this. Please follow this steps.


Click on Start -> Right Click on My Computer -> Goto Properties.

Click on the Hardware Tab you see there.

There will be a button named Hardware Profile. Click on that and then

Select the profile which you dont want and then try to delete it. Using
the Button which you have there. Then click on ok and Restart your
computer and see whether you get that message again.

Why are you pretending that you work for Microsoft when you are posting
through Googlegroups and using a Yahoo email address?
