choose "open" instead of search when window open

How do I change my settings to where I double click the folder I want and
open in it in a different window rather than getting a search window when I
double click?

Hi imcantu,

D/load and run Doug Knox's folder_open.vbs which "fixes the problem where
Search or Command Prompt opens when double clicking a folder":

You may receive a warning from your Antivirus program regarding the .vbs
file possibly being an unsafe or malicious file.......there is nothing
malicious about Doug Knox's .vbs files, they are safe to d/load and run.
