Chokes on large file

Anti-spy chugs along until it scans a large file (over 2
gigs) found in the root directory - then it chokes.
Everything freezes. Can't even bring up task window
(CTRL-ALT-DELETE) inorder to allow me to try to kill the
task. Have to shut computer off. Has anyone else seen
this?

I haven't seen this, but there are reports of very long processing delays on
a given file. I'd bet that it isn't freezing, just taking a good long time.
But you may not have the patience to find out--I doubt that I would!
