CHKDSK

D

Dij

Hi,
I do not know what I've done to my pc yesterday that whenever
I reboot or start the computer, it keeps showing the pale blue screen
with lots of texts saying: CHKDSK is going to check the disk D!!
It has never done this before.
My OS is Window XP SP2 NAV2005
There are 2 drives: C & D
Drive C contains all the applications
Drive D where I store all my files and graphics
Please some one tell me how to get rid of this checking.

Thanks Kelly for your help; I've tried everything you adviced but
unfortunately came to no result.
It keeps saying that the volume is dirty, after having checked (CHKDSK), all
is fine, why's this?
How can I clean thios volume??

If Kelly's fix didn't solve the issue, it would be smart for you to
check the health of your hard drive; it might be failing. Do this with
a diagnostic utility from the mftr. Usually you will download the file
and make a bootable floppy with it. Boot with the media and do a
thorough test. If the drive has physical errors, replace it.
