Chkdsk - run automatically?

In XP, can you set up chkdsk so it runs automatically if the last shut
down was abnormal? Scandisk with earlier Windows could do that.

I recently had a problem which might have been prevented if chkdsk had
started automatically.

chkdsk always runs if the disk was dirty at the time of the unexpected
shutdown.

It does so automagically if it believes XP was improperly shut down.
