CHKDSK Problem

Whenever I start my Computer CHKDSK starts and it say,s
Cannot Open Volume For Direct Access I know this is a
Microsoft Problem at the Moment Can anyone please let me
know how to stop CHKSDK on startup because it is slowing
my Startup and it is annoying
I have looked in msconfig nothing in the Startup Section
checked Task Scheduler nothing there nothing in the
Startup Folder any idea,s thank,s

Do you have Zone Alarm Version 5 installed ? It can give exactly those
symptoms.

Yes I do I have the Latest Version is there any fix that
you know of

Yes , The best plan is to uninstall ZA5 and go back to version 4.5 Do the
uninstall as per ZA's instructions and use their uninstaller. It is
essential to close everything in the task bar including ZA itself before
hitting the uninstall button.
