chkdsk on second drive

Hi,
I ran chkdsk on my second drive and I can't seem to find any log in the
Event Viewer. It is there for my C drive but not for my D drive. Is there
somewhere else I should look. I seem to have a number of Event ID 51s in my
Event Viewer for drive 2D and I'm afraid it might be going bad.

Thanks

Are you sure records for the D drive are not appended
in the same single LOG file?

1. Identify the make of your hard drives (write down
how they are identified by the BIOS at reboot) and
2. Download disk diagnostic apps from the manufacturer(s)
web sites.

I checked and a D drive record is not appended to the C drive info. Then I
did download the drive fitness utility from the manufacturer of the drive.
Turns out to be Hitachi. I ran the tests and it says the drive is ok . I
wonder if the disk events maybe had something to do with my Segate Free Agent
removable. I ran a diagnostic on that and it was also ok too.
Thanks again, I feel better about my five year old drives now.
