chkdsk/f no find

I am having a problem getting chkdsk/f to run from the command prompt.
Chkdsk runs fine, but will not fix anything without the "/f" The error I get
is,
"Windows cannot find 'chkdsk/f'.
Any thoughts?

you need to use chkdsk /f (note the space)
