Chinese Character Support

Hi,

Can anyone help ?

I am using XP Home version and have always been able to
see Chinese characters (eg. www.mingpao.com). But when I
turned on my notebook this morning, I can only
see "squares" on my screen. Can anyone help here ?!

Many thanks. It worked by going to Language and then
Asian Languages. But I still don't understand why it
changed to "not supporting Chinese characters" !
