Child browser window size

After right clicking on a link and choosing open in new
window, the window open half screen. I know this is done
by design, but how do I change it to full screen?

by design, but how do I change it to full screen?

Windows remembers the size of the last Normal IE window closed.
Open such a link.
Don't use the maximize button.
Stretch the edges/corners so that the window fills the screen.
Close all other IE windows.
Close the stretched window.
