Checking records before importing

Hi there,

I am trying to import records from the Excel sheet to Access table through
temp table to avoid the duplicate records imported to the Access table. Now I
need help on finding out the Duplicate records in the temp table and it
should be deleted before updating the main table.
Can anyone please help me to do this ?

Create a query on the temp table. Go up to View, Totals. By default that
should Group By all the fields. When you run the query, only one copy of each
record should show. Use this query to append the data to the final table.
