I am trying to set up Outlook 2002 on my WinXP desktop to
check email from 2 different accts (ie - comcast and
yahoo). I am having the following problem:
When I go to the Tools -> Email Accounts menu item, and
select create a new account, I am able to create a new
account. However, let's say that my Comcast acct is the
DEFAULT. What happens is that any mail which gets sent
to my yahoo acct, shows up in the inbox of the comcast
acct.
So, what i have done so far is, went back to tools->email
accounts to view or change existing accts. I created a
new outlook data file where it says "Deliver new email to
the following location". But it seems if you can not
select one data file for one acct and another data file
with another acct.
so, in summary, what is going on here is that if i select
the outlook data file associated with my comcast acct,
that file is used for my comcast AND my yahoo email accts.
so, can someone tell me what i am doing wrong, point me
to instructions on how to do this correctly?
please also send your reply to (e-mail address removed)
thanks!!!
