Please help me.

This happened recently.
Now everytime I start my PC.
It says "One of your disks need to checked for consistencies"
It takes sometime.
After that it is ok and everything runs smoothly.
When I restart it will again says "One of your disks need to checked for
consistencies"
Now this is happening every time I start my PC.
I have tried "system restore" and yet could not resolve it.
I am using XP
Please how to stop this.
Thank you

If this is happening before you get to the XP desktop, it may be a hardware
error. Go to your hard drive manufacturer's website and look for their
diagnostic tools, make note of their instructions and download and run their
diagnostic. If everything is fine, are you running any disk cleanup
applications?

Thank you for the reply.
Going to drive manufacturer's website, I got to wait for my son...will be
back in a month time.
Yes I have run disk cleanup. Has this anything to do with my problem.

Thanks

Depending upon what might have been removed, it might have something to do
with your problem but you need to check to check the drive's integrity first
and that diagnostic will tell us if the drive is about to fail in which
case, no, the cleanup isn't the issue.
