Check spelling as you type in Outlook

The feature "check spelling as you type" with red curly underlines that is
available in Word should be available in Outlook as well.
It would be a real time saver. It would be so much faster than checking the
spelling with the current spell checker. I know it is possible to do this if
you select Word as the e-mail editor, but I don't understand why it is not
built into Outlook (or any text box like the one I'm typing this into for
that matter).

because outlook uses a simple RTF editor that doesn't support it. Word,
especially in 2002 and2003, is a very capable email editor. Try it. Outlook
12 will have one editor- Word - so you might as well get used to it.

Well, I guess that is good news.
The current (Outlook 2003) integration of Word is pretty bad, but if it is
going to be the only editor I guess MS will have to make a seamless
integration that will work much better than now.
