Check server process or application

What code or how would you look at a server from the workstation to examine
and see if a process or application has been started or running? I also
need to execute the application (EXE) if it has not started. I would be
running it as administrator. I know ADSI so that might help.

Somehow I doubt you're trying to do this in an Access database, the point of
this particular newsgroup.

I'd suggest asking in a newsgroup related to whatever operating system
you're running, or whatever language you're trying to write this in.
