Hello,
about the remark from Pat in "flash player 9.0.115.0" on the ocx file.
I use the program of secunia (http://secunia.com/software_inspector). This
program check the version of some program and he say where the program being
(for me it is not always evident) and so i can see if there are some program
or file that leave out-of-date even if the program is up-to-date but not good
uninstall.
It is a online program now, but they test a personal and network edition.

Hi,

Secunia PSI is in beta however it seems to be working well on Windows XP and
Vista.

If you are in the business of keeping PC's updated then I would suggest
taking a look.

Secunia Personal Software Inspector v 0.1.0.2: https://psi.secunia.com/

Kind Regards

Simon

Thanks, benoit & Simon Zerafa--this sounds useful to me. The source is
reputable, and it will give me a check on whether my current methods are
keeping the stuff I deal with current or not.

When Secunia Software Inspector detects old, unsecure files that were
not properly uninstalled (Flash9d.ocx) it is easy enough to just delete
them. However, they should also be unregistered; that's why I recommend
to uninstall previous versions of Flash Player before installing the new
one.

Running the uninstaller will remove *all* installed versions.
