Hi

I'm using Outlook 2003 on XP Pro

When I type in the name of a person in my Contacts list in the TO
field (whether it be first name then last name or vice versa) an
check name, Outlook recognises that person - Which is good

BUT

When I type in the first name then last name of a person in my globa
address list and check name, Outlook does not recognise that person.
I'm forced to use last name then first name

I had no such issues on my old computer (still using Outlook 2003

Can anyone help please

Sorry, Found the answer at last!
Disabled the cache mode and it's working fine!

Hi,

I have the problem as described by Kalypso, beneath, and I have now tried
this 'disable the cache mode', though Outlook 2003 is still coming back
saying no person found.

Any ideas, anyone? Is it something to do with it looking in the contacts
first, and not finding the person there, and it not looking in the Global
Address List first?

Cheers.
