check disk

Dear All,

I have planned "at next boot" a complete check disk of my system, a notebook
equipped with XP PRO SP1, but at the boot phase a message like ....system
cannot take complete disk control ..appears without execute the task.

Anyone of you could give me an help?

You are using ZoneAlarm ver 5.something - right. It is a known problem and
discussed frequently on the ZA forums!
