Check Disk problem

thej762000

I have 4 HDD..when I run check disk on one of them(a SCSI
drive) with "automatically fix file system errors"
checked in I get a message back, "Windows was unable to
complete the disk check." There are no read/write
problems with the drive, and check disk works with both
boxes checked when I run it on my other drives. This is
not the Windows drive. System is as follows:

ASUS A7V333 Mobo
AMD Athlon XP/2000 1.67ghz
1GB PC2700 DDR RAM
Maxtor 80GB HDD (Windows Drive)
Western Digital 120GB HDD
IBM 36GB SCSI HDD(problem drive)
IBM 9GB SCSI HDD
Adaptec 29160N controller card

Thanks in advance.
