Check disk error log file.

After a disk check is run and their are bad clusters, does
windows create a log file that can be referred to after
the operating system is booted. If so, where and how can
it be viewed.
 
Yes. There is an event gets recorded in the eventlog. The source is Winlogon
and the Evnent ID is 1001

Run "eventvwr" and search for the event mentioned above.
