Charts don't copy with new sheet

I've just started working with Excel 2007 and I'm having a little trouble. I
have a sheet with charts showing data for January. I wanted to create 11 more
sheets just like it for the rest of the year. I right click the tab, choose
'Create Copy" and hit OK. A new tab appears just like always but there are no
charts! I can copy and paste the charts seperately into the new sheet, but
they reference the data in the January tab. Any help would be appreciated.

Thanks,

Mac

Normally, I just do a CTRL-drag on the sheet tab to copy a sheet in
its entirety (including graphs, which then refer to the cells on the
copied sheet). Mind you, I don't have XL2007, so I can't test this out
for you.

Hope this helps.

Thanks for the reply. I wasn't aware of that way of copying. Unfortunately, I
get the same results.

Anyone else?

I right click the sheet tab with the charts on them, select move or copy,
place check mark in copy and enter. I am using 2007

It must be a setting somewhere, then. I've been fighting this off and on all
day.

Just to be sure...
You're saying there are charts on the new page, identical to those on the
original page? And they reference cells on the new page?

Yes the data/charts on the new page are identical, and the series data
references the same data on the new page. I just did a test file, entered
1,2,3,4,5 down colum a, selected all the entries, went to the insert tab,
chose line chart. Then did what was in my last post, the new (copy) was
identical, except the data series was referencing the same data but on the
new sheet. Try it on a new sheet for test purposes.?

Additionally, I tried Pete-UK method, works the same way in 2007. TX Pete,
learned a shorter way to copy sheets!

Hi,

It works absolutely fine for me. When I copy the sheet as per your method,
the charts appear on the new sheet with the range of cells on the new sheet.
