charting hidden data...

Hi all,
Is there any way to have an Excel chart continue to show values when the source data columns or rows are hidden? I have some charts whose data sources I want hidden in my main spreadsheet - the only problem is that when the columns are hidden my charts are blank!

Thanks in advance for any help.

Select the chart, go to Tools menu - Options - Chart tab, uncheck Plot
Visible Cells Only.
